Travis (6’0″, 185 lbs, Nevada)
Scrappy (5’7″, 165 lbs, Kentucky)
There is something very inviting watching two very well sculpted, hard-bodied studs go at one another on a mat. Each man vying for an advantage that will make his opponent tap out. In NHB, the more you can make the man across do just that, the better the likelihood that you will come out victorious. For it is all timed, and simply put, the wrestler with the greater number of pin falls at the end of the allotted time wins.
Scrappy and Travis have met before and wrestled, but NHB is different. Here you have the running tally so you always know where you stand in the match. There is no “as long as I am the last man standing I win” as there is in other matches. Scrappy immediately gets to work on the younger Travis and notches the first pin fall. Travis bounces right back for a pin fall of his own.
Back and forth the two go until one decides he has had enough and manages to string together 3 pins in a row. There is no looking back, even when a comeback is attempted, and quickly thwarted. Either fighter has such an impressive body that for the other person to win so convincing is a huge achievement. You’ll enjoy seeing the winner’s hand raised by the loser.
TOTAL RUN-TIME: 20 minutes, 37 seconds
